HiLaBye Privacy Policy
HiLaBye ("HiLaBye", "we", "us", or "our") operates the social media management platform at hilabye.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, account type, and your acceptance of our Privacy Policy and Terms.
- Authentication data. If you sign in with Google or Meta, we receive your basic profile and email from that provider to create and secure your account.
- Connected platform data. When you link a social account (such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, Pinterest, or Threads), we receive access tokens and the permissions you approve. We use these to publish content, read engagement and insights, and manage comments on your behalf — only as directed by you.
- Content you provide. Posts, drafts, schedules, media, and approval messages you create in the Service.
- Technical data. Log data, device and browser information, and cookies used to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To publish, schedule, and manage content on the platforms you connect, at your direction.
- To authenticate you and protect against fraud and abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account and support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Platform data and third parties
Our use of information received from Meta (including Threads), Google/YouTube, TikTok, X, and Pinterest follows each platform's developer policies, including the Meta Platform Terms and Google API Services User Data Policy. We do not sell your personal information or connected platform data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, or when required by law.
4. Data retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect any linked platform at any time, which revokes our access tokens for that platform. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@hilabye.com. Meta users can also trigger deletion through Facebook's app settings; our data deletion endpoint securely records those requests and provides a trackable status page.
5. Your choices and rights
- Disconnect any connected platform from the Connect Accounts page.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
- Withdraw consent by closing your account.
6. Security
Access tokens and secrets are stored encrypted, sessions are protected, and access to credentials is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new effective date here and, where appropriate, notify you.
